World-Wide-Walks/HOUSES began in the early 1970s
when I was living on top of Potrero Hill at the corner
of Kansas and 20th Streets in San Francisco.
I was inspired to begin with clips from the most
recent walks because of the personal connections
they make with people and places over the decades.
