This site-specific work was performed in Philadelphia’s Baptist
Temple two years before the building restoration began in 2007.
The largest Protestant church in the U.S. when it opened in 1891,
it also served as the site of a college that later became
Temple University. The Baptist Temple walks inspired the
World-Wide-Walks/between earth & sky/Temples
project that includes sites in Egypt, India, Italy and Peru.
The multi-channel video and web installation premiered
at the new Temple Performing Arts Center in 2011.
